Jim Childress graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a B.B.A. in 1983. Upon graduation from college he moved to Toledo, Ohio where he worked in supervision and then management for a Fortune 500 company. While working in Toledo, he gave his life to the Lord and then entered the ministry as an evangelist and began to travel throughout the US and to different nations holding revival and healing meetings.In 2000, Jim’s ministry began to be marked by tremendous signs and wonders with many doctor-confirmed miracles, such as the blind seeing and the deaf hearing. Jim grew up with a dad who was disabled and has a passion and vision to see people healed and set free.
Recently, Jim was on staff in Hanford, California where he served as the New Believers Pastor at Koinonia Christian Fellowship, a large multicultural interdenominational church, located in the central valley of the state. He developed a Mentorship program for new believers and a foundations course for them so that they can grow, develop, and mature in Christ. He and his wife , Sandy, now live in Dallas ,Texas and are the directors of Childress Ministries/Righteous Generation Ministries, an international ministry that focuses on building up the Body of Christ around the world. They have an extensive ministry base in Brazil, and Jim travels frequently, ministering as a speaker in conferences, churches, and other events in America and many foreign nations.
Jim attended the Rhema healing school from 2000-2002 while leaving in Tulsa, and is a licensed and ordained minister with Believer's Destiny Church in Wilmington, North Carolina, which is a Rhema affiliated church. He ministers with a healing anointing and flows in the prophetic and word of knowledge giftings. His vision is to see people healed and set free from the bondages of Satan so they can experience the fullness of the abundant life that Jesus purchased for them.

Sandy (Nemeth) Childress is a prophetic worship leader and conference speaker who has been ministering to people in over 25 nations into the presence of the Lord through worship for over 20 years. From Sandy: "Ever since I can remember, I have loved music and the sense of freedom, joy, and refreshing that it brings. A couple years ago, an uncle of mine sent me a home-made CD of my brothers and cousins and I all singing our little solos and songs at Christmas time, when I was about 3 years old. I honestly can’t remember doing that, but I now realize that it was something that God had created to always be a part of me, even the ad-libbing parts – in one song, I couldn’t remember the words, so I just went ahead and made up my own, in my own made-up language!
"Little did I know then that worship and foreign languages would become a huge part of my destiny. I went through a long season where I was scared of ministry and intimidated being in front of people, and was really set free from a lot of fear and oppression when I went to Bible College. It was there that I figured out that these giftings, given by God, would be part of His call on my life. Without knowing that, I had already studied several foreign languages by that time. God has been gracious to allow me to minister in over 25 different nations and it is awesome to see how, every time, worshiping our incredible Creator God is the common thread that brings all hearts together, no matter what the language, culture, or race may be."
